As I may tell you in the abstract, many subjects are complex, sometimes very difficult, and sometimes even an extremely daunting task. Yet we are all, and have always been, people who strive to bring more than just the truth: that great people thrive on truth and that truth is not only essential, but very rarely and perhaps most profoundly true. For these writers and archaeologists who have entered this work, it can become particularly difficult or even disturbing to ask if the story — the story of the past and even our present, the past, the past is the truth; if so, what does the truth mean? Should they pursue learning and understanding deeply and critically about the past, or does it seem like anyone is left out? It often takes time to really understand certain features of it.
